There is currently an identity theft scam in the area that involves targeted individuals receiving text messages claiming to be from "The Bank" or the name of other local banks in the area informing them that their cards have been deactivated and that they will need to call in order to reactivate their card. If you receive this message DO NOT REPLY. This is not a message from First Federal Savings Bank, and you should delete this message without giving out any information. PLEASE DO NOT CALL ANY NUMBER PROVIDED IN THE MESSAGE.
If you have any concerns about this text message or need to report a lost or stolen card or you feel that your card information has been compromised in any way you may call us at 1-877-577-3372.
First Federal will never contact you through text messages or email for any information or verification. Be wary of any requests to provide information or in order to update your accounts either over the phone, through email, text, or over the web. Never provide your personal information to anyone if you did not initiate the communication.
